Card for the week: Vulnerable

Message:
It’s okay to vulnerable. We sometimes think of it as a weakness, but it is not. Knowing where you are vulnerable means you know what you might need to work on. Are you feeling as though you are in a position to get hurt? Look into it. Are these feelings because you are scared? Then how do you make the situation not so scary in a positive way. Are you feeling as though you might be a target for something? What can you do to protect yourself?

Being vulnerable is an opportunity to take a look at your environment and make a plan on how to handle it. It is not a weakness, but a time to take stock in how you feel and how you would like approach the vulnerability.

Dark Oracle Cards

I wanted to create a card set that was geared more towards the hidden side of ourselves. This deck is meant to provide the reader with insights into those areas that are not necessarily felt to be positive.

My decks are generally about motivating you in an inspirational and nurturing manner. I enjoy those decks very much since they allow me to give people readings with a message of advice and direction. They weren't made to open up the hidden doors. Not to say that they don't give you a way to look into yourself, but they are for the brighter side of the moon.

The dark oracle deck is to help you tackle feelings of betrayal, lack of self, lack of trust and more!

I honestly can't wait for them to be finished!

I used canva and the native images in the app for the illustrations, but edited the colors. I also specifically tried to use only sketch or line type images. The background was made with intention of looking a little worn. I didn't want a new shiny look. I feel as though the worn look matches the feelings addressed in many of the cards themes. Each card has a moon representation on it so you know what energy should be associated with the card. There are also moon cards (I love moon cards. I have them with my 4 Orisha Deck).
When they are finished, I am going to use them a few times to kind of see how they want to be used in readings. Sometimes how I think I am going to use my deck, isn't how they should be used.
